By posting the following customer information page, we are fulfilling our obligation to provide information. Here, we give you information about all circumstances in connection with the coming into being of the contract as a result of your order and the processing of it.

On our customer information pages we make a distinction, as the law requires, between a consumer, an entrepreneur and a customer. Under the terms of these information pages, customers are both consumers and entrepreneurs. Under the terms of these information pages, consumers are persons with whom extratapete GmbH enters into a business relationship without a commercial or freelance professional job being assigned to Consumer. Under the terms of these information pages, entrepreneurs are persons or corporate bodies with whom extratapete GmbH enters into a business relationship and who operate by practising their commercial or freelance activity.

The customer information provided here does not constitute the terms of a contract. These are included in the Terms and Conditions.You will receive the customer information together with our Terms and Conditions by e-mail prior to delivery of the goods. Conclusion of a Contract
We inform you about the terms and features of our products on our website and in our print media (catalogues, advertising brochures, etc.). The presentation of the goods does not constitute a contractual offer, but a non-binding invitation to you to order goods with us. By placing your order (by telephone, via fax, e-mail or by post) you declare your contractual offer to conclude a sales contract. We will confirm receipt of your order without delay. Confirmation of receipt however does not constitute acceptance of your offer.

Your order has officially been accepted when we send you our written order confirmation (via e-mail, by post or fax) within three working days, within one week at the outside. extratapete GmbH shall have the right to refuse to accept the order. Conclusion of the contract shall be subject to the suspensive condition of receipt of payment to the account of extratapete GmbH of the amount stipulated on the order confirmation (as a rule, pro-forma invoice; deposit in isolated cases only). Once payment has been received, the goods ordered go into production.

With regard to custom-made designs, special agreements shall apply and are laid down in writing beforehand.

Delivery Reservations
We reserve the right, in the case of non-availability of the goods, or if goods are only partly available, not to fulfil the contract or to fulfil the contract only in part.
 
Price of Goods
All prices quoted are retail prices in Euro and include the value added tax currently in force in Germany at the rate of 19%. Limited special offers are shown as such in the context of presentation of isolated goods on our website and in our print media. For further details, please refer to our Terms and Conditions which you can access here.
 
Delivery and Shipping Costs
In addition to the retail prices of the relevant goods quoted, we charge delivery costs and shipping costs as follows:
For standard delivery within Germany we charge 10.26 € per order for packing and shipping. Express delivery is possible for goods in stock. For express deliveries, we charge the higher price of 15.00 € per order for packing and shipping. Delivery and shipping costs to overseas addresses vary from country to country. Method of Payment
Currently, we only accept payment for the goods you order by bank transfer (pro-forma). As soon as we receive your payment by bank transfer, the goods go into production and then are delivered.
 
Right of Revocation
The consumer has rights of revocation. You can revoke your declaration of intent within two weeks without stating a reason in text form (e.g. by letter, fax, e-mail) or by returning the goods. The return period begins on receipt of the Revocation Instructions and the goods. Timely dispatch of revocation notice or the goods shall suffice to observe the revocation deadline. Packaged, dispatch-ready goods must be complete, i.e. including all accessory parts and instructions for use and in their original packaging, or at least in packaging suitable for transportation. Please enclose the quality control slip and the relevant dockets supplied with every package. For goods with a value of less than 40 euros, you must bear the costs of the return, but only, however, if the goods delivered correspond to the goods ordered. Otherwise we bear the costs of returning the goods. Goods which cannot be sent in packages will be picked up from your address.

Right of return is excluded for goods supplied which were produced to your specifications or which were accurately tailored to your needs.

On exercising your revocation rights within the deadline, the contract concluded between us is nullified. Services already received and rendered must be returned and paid back, and any advantages drawn must be surrendered. You may inspect the goods to the extent that would be possible in a shop. We must expressly point out that you are liable to compensate for loss of revenue, if the goods cannot be returned at all or only partly, or if the goods have deteriorated even through proper use. With regard to the return of articles, this shall not apply if the deterioration of the article is due purely to its being inspected - as you might do in a shop, for instance. If you wish to avoid the obligation to pay compensation, you should not put the goods into use as an owner would and you should refrain from everything that may detract from the value of the goods. Compensation must be rendered in cases of deterioration, for example, if the goods or accessory parts are damaged, if parts of the goods are missing or unreasonably soiled.
 
Validity Period of Limited Offers
The validity period of limited offers is clearly stated in the context of presentation of isolated goods on our website and in our print media.
 
Guarantee Terms
Under the provisions of the law you are entitled to claim in case of defective goods. Goods are guaranteed for 2 years. You must notify us in writing of obvious defects within 2 months, otherwise the exercising of your rights to claim under guarantee in the case of obvious defects is excluded; to observe the deadline for exercising your rights, it is sufficient if you send us an e-mail informing us of obvious defects.

We do not provide guarantee beyond the scope of the standard, legally effective guarantee regulations. For precise details regarding guarantee, please refer to our Terms and Conditions which form the elements of the contract.

Online shop assistance
1. Selecting an article
You can find all of our articles that can be ordered online by following the “Wallpaper Shop” and “Showroom” links. On the article page you can switch between catalogue view and showroom view by clicking on the button to the left of the description. The article price and ordering button (in the form of a price tag) can be found in the top right corner of the article pages in either the Wallpaper Catalogue or Showroom sections. By clicking on the price tag you can select the article described on that page and add it to your order (shopping cart).

2. Listed price
The price tag displays the unit price for all articles with set measurements. For patterned wallpapers, which can be ordered to fit individual measurements, the price shown is for each running metre of wallpaper. If you move the mouse pointer over the price tag (rollover), you will see the product name and amount that will be added to the shopping cart after you click on the button.
All prices displayed on the website include German VAT. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout according to the value of the articles ordered and the country to which the articles are shipped. You can see an overview of the shipping costs here.

3. Purchase order quantity
3.1 Unit price for photo wallpapers
For articles with set measurements, one complete article is added to the shopping cart when you click on the price tag. You can change the amount of articles in the shopping cart or remove articles at any time.

3.2 Price per metre for patterned wallpapers
For patterned wallpapers it is necessary to calculate the total price for your individual order (strip length x number of strips x per metre price = total price). Enter your desired measurements (wall width and wall height) into the indicated input fields (“Wallpaper Computer”) and click on the “Calculate” button. The required amount of wallpaper for your measurements (strip length and number of strips) will then be displayed and the price tag will display the total price. You can repeat the calculation process as often as you like in order to find the best combination of strip lengths and the number of strips. By clicking on the price tag you can add your calculated order to the shopping cart. When ordering patterned wallpapers, you can later change the number of strips in the shopping cart (but not the strip length) or remove them from the list.

4. Ordering process
The ordering process consists of three simple steps: “Change Selection”, “Enter Address” and “Place Order”. You can call up the shopping cart at any time by clicking on the “Shopping Cart” button. If you add an article to the shopping cart by clicking on the price tag, the “Shopping Cart” will automatically be displayed. You may then continue to select items in the Catalogue or Showroom, or you may choose to complete your order.
 
Ordering process in the Shopping Cart
1. Change Selection
By clicking on the “My Shopping Cart” link, you will find a list of all the articles that you have added to your shopping cart on the “Change Selection” page. This is saved on your computer until you complete the ordering process, cancel the order or quit your browser. You can change the number of articles in your shopping cart. Simply click on the respective input field next to an article in the “Number” column and enter the desired number of articles. Confirm the new number with the return key or with the “Recalculate” button. If you wish to remove an article from the list, click on the “Remove Article” button or enter a zero and then confirm your selection. When you are ready to complete your order, click on the “Checkout” button to proceed. This brings you to step 2: “Enter Address”.

2. Enter Address
We need your complete address details in order to handle and deliver your order and to calculate shipping costs. Please enter these details into the “Delivery Address” and “Billing Address” input fields as indicated. Mark the appropriate checkbox in the “Billing Address” section if the delivery and billing addresses are the same. In this case you need not fill out the fields in the “Billing Address” section. By clicking on the “Save and Continue” button you can save the address data and calculate the shipping costs to your delivery address.
The shipping costs are calculated according to our country scale (standard shipping to country zones). You can see an overview of the shipping costs by clicking here. For deliveries to non-EU countries we must also add a flat charge of EUR 27.00 to cover customs fees. Stored address information is handled according to data protection law and our general terms and conditions. You can view this information by clicking on the indicated links.

3. Send order
After your address information has been saved, you will come to the final step in the ordering process on the “Send Order” page in the shopping cart. In the upper section you can see your address information, which you can change by clicking on the “Modify” button. The shipping costs will be recalculated should you change the delivery address. In the lower section of the page you will find your order list displaying the “Merchandise Price” (the subtotal excluding shipping costs). Below this value you will see the new line displaying the “Shipping costs”, which is calculated on the basis of the merchandise subtotal and the delivery address. The line “Total Invoice Sum” indicates the total sum to be paid and includes VAT and shipping costs. You are still able to modify the article list by changing the article amount or by removing articles (any changes to the article subtotal will affect the shipping costs). Click on “Recalculate” to display the current value of the article list. Please confirm that you have read the General Terms and Conditions by clicking the box situated above the “Send Order” button. Further information concerning the online conclusion of the contract can be found in the Rights of Cancellation section at the foot of the page.

Please check the information you have entered once again. Click on the button “Send Order” in order to complete your order. With this step the contract (“Order”) comes into effect. The following page confirms the successful receipt of your order.

4. Confirmation of Order
You will receive a detailed written confirmation within 3 business days which describes the handling of payments (advance payment by bank transfer).
